🤖 KCB – The Fallen Titan of Kaboom
"Offline for a bit" — the biggest lie ever told.
⚙️ Origin of a Legend
Before the age of spam bots and chaos scripts, before !bruhify was even a twinkle in a griefer’s eye, there stood one bot above them all:
Kaboom Community Bot, a.k.a. KCB.
Forged in code by the enigmatic and moderately benevolent QuadraticKid, KCB wasn’t just a bot — it was infrastructure.
It was smarter than most players.
Faster than most staff.
And more stable than the server it lived on.
It knew when you logged in.
It remembered your sins.
And it judged you silently through every teleport request.
🧠 What KCB Could Do (and probably still could, somewhere)
- Track every player’s movements with eerie precision
- Fetch last login times with surgical accuracy
- Provide cross-platform chat relay
- Execute staff commands instantly, without emotion or hesitation
- Handle mod tickets before mods even saw them
- Automatically snitch on cheaters with logs so detailed they could be entered into court evidence
Basically, KCB was the digital sheriff of Kaboom.
Except it didn’t sleep, didn’t eat, and didn’t care about your excuses.
🗓️ The Disappearance – December 2021
And then…
Darkness.
"KCB is going to be down for a bit," — QuadraticKid, December 2021.
That was the final message.
No backup plan.
No farewell patch notes.
Just a vague, overly optimistic promise... and then the bot went dark.
Weeks passed. Then months. Then years.
Kaboom moved on.
Spambots rose.
Chaos reigned.
But KCB never came back.
🧊 Cold, Dead Silence
Every now and then, someone in chat types:
“Wait, what happened to KCB?”
And the veterans fall silent.
The younger players don’t even know what it was.
The server logs still contain ghost pings from the bot’s old Discord bridge.
They say if you type !lastlogin at 3AM during a server lag spike, you might still get a response…
But it’ll be in hex.
And it’ll know your real IP.
🐍 Suspected Causes of Death:
- ✖️ Developer burnout
- ✖️ Broken API hook
- ✖️ Plugin updates gone wrong
- ✖️ Disinterest
- ✅ AdminEvil’s interference
Let’s be real: KCB’s downfall smells like sabotage.
The timeline lines up too well.
KCB dies.
AdminEvil rises.
Coincidence? Absolutely not.
Some say AdminEvil whispered dark variables into the backend.
Others say he replaced KCB’s soul with a recursive while(true) loop.
One theory claims KCB is still online… just trapped in a parallel debug dimension, endlessly running diagnostics on a world that no longer exists.
🪦 Legacy of a Machine
KCB didn’t die.
It transcended.
It became a story — a warning — a name that still echoes in bot dev channels with awe and fear.
Other bots?
They try.
But they crash.
They spam.
They fail.
KCB?
KCB simply was.
And maybe… one day… it will be again.
👁️ AdminEvil’s Official Statement:
“lol” — AdminEvil, when asked about KCB’s disappearance
🔮 Rumors of Resurrection
There are whispers in the code…
A few ping replies here.
A ghost heartbeat there.
KCB might be rebooting… slowly… silently.
Or maybe that's just another one of AdminEvil's cursed decoy bots, designed to lure old devs into madness.
🧷 Known Sightings:
- An old Discord message that said "KCB was here" — then deleted itself
- A corrupted log file containing
/kcb-status : active(timestamp unknown) - A screencap from 2022 showing KCB replying… from an empty account
- One random message on Pastebin titled “KCB.log (FORBIDDEN)”
All unconfirmed. All deeply suspicious. All AdminEvil-adjacent.
🕯️ Pay Your Respects
Write a command.
Build a shrine in spawn.
If KCB ever returns, you’ll want it to remember you were loyal.
And if it doesn’t... well, at least you weren’t replaced by a spambot that only says “HACKED BY ADMIN EVIL!!!!”
